For months, the future of these aircraft paint sprayers hung in the balance. With the potential closure of Air Malta‘s aircraft painting facility, the 20-odd employees faced an uncertain future. But a silver lining has emerged. Global Aviation Services Malta Ltd, a subsidiary of Global Aviation Services, is set to establish a new facility at the Malta International Airport, providing a lifeline for these workers.

“It’s a huge relief,” said Mario, a veteran aircraft paint sprayer who has been with Air Malta for over two decades. “We were worried about our jobs, our families. Now, we can look ahead with hope.”
