Under the baton of Maestro Brian Schembri, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will be joined by the MPO Chorus and soloists to bring the magic of the movies to life. Schembri, a Malta native, is no stranger to the magic of film music. He’s conducted scores by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and James Horner, to name a few. “Growing up in Malta, I was always drawn to the power of film music,” he recalls. “It has the ability to evoke such strong emotions, to tell a story without words.”

Schembri’s passion for film music is contagious. The TOI TOI Easter Concert has become a highlight of Malta’s cultural calendar, drawing audiences from across the island and beyond.
