Malta’s Most Wanted: Help Find These Two Men

Court’s Wanted: Two Men Elude Justice in Malta

In the heart of Valletta, at the bustling Republic Street, a flyer flutters in the breeze, pinned to a lamppost. It’s a wanted poster, not for a criminal mastermind, but two ordinary men who’ve slipped through the net of justice. The search is on, and Malta’s law enforcement needs your help.

Who are they?

The first, Joseph Camilleri, is a 45-year-old man wanted for fraud. He’s accused of defrauding a local business, leaving them with a hefty financial loss. The second, Mario Vella, is a 38-year-old wanted for assault. He’s alleged to have caused grievous bodily harm to a man in a late-night altercation in Paceville.

Both men are Maltese nationals, and it’s believed they’re still on the island. But they’ve managed to evade the long arm of the law, leaving the police with little to go on.

Why the search intensifies now

The court’s patience has worn thin. Both men have been evading summons and warrants for their arrest for months. The recent increase in crime rates has put pressure on the police to crack down on outstanding cases. This has led to an intensified search for Camilleri and Vella.

Superintendent of Police, Raymond Mifsud, told Hot Malta, “We’re appealing to the public to help us locate these men. They can’t hide forever. Someone out there knows where they are, and we urge them to come forward.”

How to help

If you have any information about Joseph Camilleri or Mario Vella, you’re urged to contact the police on 119 or visit your nearest police station. All information will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Remember, every piece of information, no matter how small, could be the key to finding these men and bringing them to justice.

Let’s not let them hide in the shadows of our communities. Let’s bring them to light and ensure justice is served.
