€1,000 Reward for Missing Teen Mia Camilleri

Missing Teen: €1,000 Reward Offered, Malta Urged to Help

It’s been over a week since 16-year-old Mia Camilleri was last seen near St. Julian’s Bay, her laughter echoing the joy of summer, now replaced by the haunting silence of uncertainty. Her family, friends, and the Maltese community are desperate for answers, and now, a €1,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to her safe return.

Mia’s Last Known Whereabouts

Mia was last seen on the evening of July 15th, near the Spinola Bay area. She was wearing a white dress and carrying a blue backpack. Her phone has been switched off since, and her family and friends have been tirelessly searching for her, distributing posters, and sharing her picture on social media.

“We just want her to come home,” her mother, Maria Camilleri, told Hot Malta. “Please, if anyone knows anything, no matter how small, please come forward.”

€1,000 Reward Offered

In an effort to encourage anyone with information to come forward, a €1,000 reward has been offered by an anonymous donor. Inspector Ian Abela from the St. Julian’s Police Station confirmed the reward and urged anyone with information to contact the police immediately.

“We are doing everything we can to find Mia,” Inspector Abela said. “This reward is a testament to the community’s concern and willingness to help. We urge anyone who knows anything to come forward.”

Malta United in Search

The Maltese community has rallied around the Camilleri family, with vigils held in St. George’s Square and Sliema Promenade. Social media has been flooded with posts using the hashtag #FindMia, with people sharing her picture and offering support to her family.

“Mia is part of our community,” said Joe Borg, a local resident. “We all want her to come home safe. If anyone knows anything, please, let’s bring Mia home.”

If you have any information about Mia’s whereabouts, please contact the St. Julian’s Police Station on 21320202 or the Missing Persons Unit on 21242000.
