4yo Boy in Critical Condition After Birkirkara Pool Accident

Emergency services rushed to a residential street in Birkirkara today, where a four-year-old boy was found unconscious in a swimming pool. The toddler, identified only as Matthew, was immediately transferred to Mater Dei Hospital in critical condition.

Neighbors and family members, visibly shaken, gathered outside the house on Triq San Gorg Preca, their faces etched with worry and disbelief. “We heard screams and rushed out,” said a neighbor who wished to remain anonymous. “The poor boy was face down in the pool. It’s every parent’s nightmare.”
