The accident, which involved a 25-year-old man from Żebbuġ riding a motorcycle and a 48-year-old man from Xewkija driving a car, took place around 3:30 PM. According to preliminary reports, the motorcyclist was traveling towards Xewkija when the collision occurred. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was immediately transported to Gozo General Hospital for treatment.

Road Closure and Traffic Diversions
