Applications are now open for the third season of ‘Come Dine With Me Malta’, the hit TV show that’s got locals cooking up a storm. What’s ‘Come Dine With Me Malta’ all about?

For the uninitiated, ‘Come Dine With Me Malta’ is a local adaptation of the popular British TV show. Over the course of five weeks, five amateur chefs from different walks of life compete against each other, hosting a dinner party for four mystery diners in their own homes. The diners then rate each host’s food, atmosphere, and hosting skills, with the winner of each episode taking home €500.

But it’s not just about the money. It’s about the pride, the passion, and the opportunity to represent your unique culinary style on national TV. It’s about the camaraderie, the friendly competition, and the chance to make new friends. And, of course, it’s about the bragging rights that come with being crowned the ultimate home cook in Malta.

Who can apply?

Think you’ve got what it takes? Here’s what you need to know. To apply, you must be a resident of Malta or Gozo, aged 18 or over, and available to film for five consecutive weeks from late September to early November. You don’t need to be a professional chef – in fact, the show is all about celebrating the everyday home cook.

But you do need to have a passion for food, a flair for cooking, and the ability to host a memorable dinner party. Oh, and you’ll need a kitchen that’s up to scratch – no tiny kitchens or shared spaces, please!

How to apply

Applications are open now and will close on August 15th. To apply, simply visit the ‘Come Dine With Me Malta’ website (comedinewithmemalta.com) and fill out the online application form. You’ll need to provide some basic information about yourself, as well as a photo of yourself and your kitchen, and a short video of you cooking your signature dish.

If you’re selected to take part, you’ll be contacted by the production team in late August. From there, it’s a whirlwind of cooking, hosting, and hopefully, winning!
