Paceville Brawl: Teen’s Face Slashed, Witness Sought

In the early hours of Saturday morning, the usually bustling streets of Paceville fell silent as an ambulance rushed a 17-year-old boy to Mater Dei Hospital. The teen’s face was slashed, leaving a gash that required stitches, following a brawl that broke out between two groups of young men.

Now, the police are questioning a witness who they believe can shed light on the incident that has left the tight-knit community of Paceville shocked and parents on edge.

According to a police spokesperson, a witness who was present during the brawl has not yet come forward. “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area of St. George’s Bay around 3 am on Saturday morning and may have seen something to come forward,” the spokesperson said.

Inspector Mario Azzopardi, who is leading the investigation, urges anyone with information to contact the police. “We need the public’s help to piece together what happened that night. Any information, no matter how small, could be crucial to our investigation,” he says.
