Teen’s Face Slashed: Witness Vanishes

In the heart of Malta, the usually bustling Republic Street in Valletta fell silent last night as police cordoned off the area following a brutal brawl that left a 17-year-old with a deep slash across his face. The incident, which took place outside the historic City Gate, has left the community shaken and authorities scrambling for answers.

Eyewitnesses report a heated argument escalating into a full-blown fight between two groups of young men around 10 PM. The altercation, which lasted only minutes, ended with the teenager being rushed to Mater Dei Hospital, his face gashed open. The weapon used has not been identified, but sources close to the investigation suggest it could be a switchblade.

In the aftermath, police swiftly arrested three individuals, two of whom were released on police bail pending further investigations.
