Suddenly, the unthinkable happens. A car in front of you loses control, crashes into a lamppost, and bursts into flames. This wasn’t a scene from a Hollywood movie, but a real-life drama that unfolded on our island last week.

The Crash and the Flames

The driver, a 35-year-old man from Msida, was behind the wheel of a silver Toyota Yaris when the incident occurred. Eyewitnesses reported that the car seemed to swerve suddenly before colliding with the lamppost. Within seconds, the car was engulfed in flames, the intense heat and smoke causing panic among passersby.
