First Things First: Check Your Eligibility
Before you dash off to collect your document, make sure you’re eligible to vote. You can check this on the Elections Commission website. If you’re a Maltese citizen or a EU citizen residing in Malta, and you’re 18 or older, you’re good to go!
Where to Collect Your Voting Document
Alright, you’re eligible. Now, let’s find out where to collect your voting document. The Elections Commission has set up collection points across Malta and Gozo. Here are a few key locations:
- Valletta: You can collect your document from the Elections Commission Office at 125, St. Lucia Street, Valletta. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the historic Grandmaster’s Palace.
- Floriana: Head to the Floriana Local Council Office at 137, Merchants Street, Floriana. It’s near the iconic Floriana Gate.
- Gozo: If you’re a Gozitan, you can collect your document from the Gozo Regional Office at Triq San Lawrenz, Victoria, Gozo. It’s close to the famous Citadella.
Remember, collection points are open from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. On election day, you can collect your document up until 10:00 AM at your designated polling station.
