SCJ Children’s Choir to Present ‘A Night of Harmony’ in Valletta

Imagine the joyous sound of children’s voices filling the historic St. John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. That’s exactly what you can expect this Saturday as the SCJ Children’s Choir presents their annual concert, ‘A Night of Harmony’.

Choir’s Journey and Achievements

The SCJ Children’s Choir, under the direction of the talented Marouska Attard, has been a beacon of musical excellence in Malta for over a decade. They’ve performed at prestigious venues like the Mediterranean Conference Centre and the Manoel Theatre, and even represented Malta at international events.

This year’s concert promises to be another spectacular showcase of their talent. “We’ve been working hard on a diverse repertoire that will take our audience on a musical journey,” says Marouska. “From classical pieces to popular songs, there’s something for everyone.”

What to Expect at ‘A Night of Harmony’

The concert will feature a mix of solo performances, ensemble pieces, and even a few surprises. The choir will be joined by special guests, including local musician Alexia Schembri, who will perform a duet with one of the choir’s young stars.

But it’s not just about the music. The concert is also a celebration of the choir’s growth and the community that supports it. “We’re thrilled to have so many families and friends coming together to enjoy music and each other’s company,” says Marouska.

Supporting a Good Cause

This year, the concert will also raise funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund, which supports various local charities. “We believe in using our talents to give back to our community,” says Marouska. “We’re proud to support the Malta Community Chest Fund and the important work they do.”

So, mark your calendars for Saturday, 25th March, at 7:30 PM. Join the SCJ Children’s Choir for ‘A Night of Harmony’ at St. John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. It’s more than just a concert; it’s a celebration of music, community, and the power of children’s voices.
