Car Ablaze on University Ring Road

It was a chilling sight that greeted students and passersby last night. A car, parked innocuously on the University ring road, was suddenly engulfed in a inferno that seemed to dance in the cool November air. The blaze, which broke out around 9 PM, sent plumes of smoke skyward, visible even from the nearby Msida Bastion Gardens.

A Quick Response from the Fire Brigade

The Malta Fire and Rescue Service was quick to respond, with two tenders and a rescue vehicle rushing to the scene. They managed to extinguish the fire within half an hour, preventing it from spreading to nearby vehicles or causing any significant damage to the road infrastructure.
