Witnesses reported seeing the woman, believed to be in her 40s, lying on the ground as bystanders rushed to her aid. The truck, a large white Mercedes, was seen parked nearby, its driver visibly shaken.

Rescue and Aftermath

Paramedics from the Malta Civil Protection Department arrived swiftly, stabilizing the woman before transferring her to Mater Dei Hospital. Her condition is understood to be stable, but serious. The road was temporarily closed, causing traffic congestion in the area.
