Emergency services rushed to the scene of a collision involving a motorcyclist and a car on Gozo’s main road, Triq l-Imqabba, late Monday afternoon. The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man from Xewkija, was rushed to Gozo General Hospital with suspected serious injuries.

According to preliminary reports, the collision occurred around 4:30 PM near the roundabout leading to the Għajnsielem ferry terminal. The motorcyclist was traveling towards Victoria when a car, reportedly turning left onto Triq l-Imqabba, collided with him.
