What Happened?

The accident happened around 3 PM on Triq San Pawl, a busy road that connects Mġarr to the rest of the island. Witnesses reported seeing a cyclist, a man in his late 30s, being thrown several meters after colliding with a car. The cyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was immediately attended to by paramedics before being rushed to Mater Dei Hospital in an ambulance.

The driver of the car, a local resident, was reportedly shaken but unharmed. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
