Emergency services rushed to the Regional Road in Msida yesterday afternoon following a collision involving a motorcycle and a car. The motorcyclist, a 27-year-old man, was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital with suspected broken ribs and a head injury.
What Happened?
The accident occurred around 3 PM near the Msida roundabout, causing traffic chaos during the evening rush hour. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the motorcycle, a black Yamaha YZF-R6, skid across the road and crash into the central reservation. The car, a silver Toyota Yaris, ended up on the hard shoulder with its airbags deployed.
