Traffic Woes Ease as New Bypass Opens in Mosta

MOSTA – The long-awaited bypass around Mosta finally opened today, a significant relief for commuters who’ve been battling gridlock on Triq l-Indipendenza for years. The new route, a €15 million project, cuts through the outskirts of the town, connecting Triq San Pawl to Triq l-Imqades, bypassing the congested town centre.

Government Unveils Green Initiatives for Valletta

VALLETTA – In a press conference held at the Grandmaster’s Palace, the government announced a series of green initiatives aimed at transforming Valletta into a sustainable city. Plans include the installation of solar panels on historic buildings, electric vehicle charging points along Republic Street, and the creation of more green spaces. “We want Valletta to be a model of sustainability,” said Minister for the Environment, Dr. Miriam Azzopardi.

ST. JULIAN’S – A new contemporary art gallery is set to open its doors in St. Julian’s this autumn, adding another cultural gem to the bustling waterfront. The ‘ArtSpace’ will occupy a restored 19th-century warehouse, showcasing works by local and international artists. “We’re excited to bring something new to the area,” said gallery director, Dr. Daniel Azzopardi. “We want to make art accessible to everyone.”
