From the 17th to the 21st of August, the festival will take over some of the city’s most iconic rooftops, offering stunning views of the Grand Harbour and the surrounding Three Cities.
What to Expect
The festival promises a diverse lineup, catering to various tastes. Expect to see local and international artists, from jazz and blues to electronic music and theatre performances. Some of the confirmed acts include Maltese favourites such as The New VIbes, Red Electrick, and Wintermute, alongside international artists like British jazz saxophonist Camilla George and Italian electronic duo 93ft.
Rooftop Venues
The festival will take place across five different rooftops, each offering a unique experience. The Grandmaster’s Palace, Upper Barrakka Gardens, and St. John’s Co-Cathedral are among the venues, providing a stunning backdrop for the performances. The rooftops will be transformed into open-air stages, with seating areas and food and drink stalls.

The Malta Youth Theatre will be performing excerpts from their latest production, while local theatre company MADC will present a comedy sketch show. There will also be workshops on music production and DJing, open to both beginners and experienced enthusiasts.
With its unique blend of music, theatre, and stunning views, the Rooftop Series Summer Festival is set to be a highlight of Malta’s cultural calendar. So, grab your friends, family, or that special someone, and head up to the rooftops for an unforgettable night under the Maltese sky.
