Malta: Two Workers Plunge Down Apartment Block Shaft in Msida
In the heart of Malta’s bustling Msida, a chilling scene unfolded yesterday as two workers plummeted down an open shaft at an under-construction apartment block, sending shockwaves through the close-knit community.
Rescue Operation Launched
Emergency services rushed to the scene at the 12-story building on Triq l-Imqabba, near the Msida Church, around 10:30 am. Fire and Rescue Services, along with Civil Protection Department personnel, worked tirelessly to rescue the trapped workers, who had fallen approximately 10 meters down the elevator shaft.

Workers Hospitalized
