Delicata’s Wine Festival Returns to Valletta in August
Sip Your Way Through Summer: Delicata’s Wine Festival Returns in August
Malta’s wine enthusiasts, mark your calendars! After a two-year hiatus, Delicata’s annual wine festival is making a comeback this August. The island’s largest wine producer is set to transform St. George’s Square in Valletta into a wine lover’s paradise, with a celebration that promises to be bigger and better than ever.
What to Expect?
Spanning three days from the 26th to the 28th of August, the festival will showcase Delicata’s extensive portfolio, including their award-winning wines like the Gran Cavalier and the popular Malta’s Finest range. But it’s not just about the wine. The festival will also feature local food vendors, live music, and cultural performances, creating a vibrant atmosphere that’s perfect for both locals and tourists alike.
In true Maltese style, the festival will also host a series of wine-tasting sessions led by Delicata’s expert sommeliers. These sessions will offer an in-depth look into the art of wine-making, from the vineyards of Malta’s sister islands, Gozo and Comino, to the final product in your glass.
More Than Just a Festival
Delicata’s wine festival is not just a celebration of the island’s wine heritage; it’s also a testament to Malta’s resilience and recovery. After a challenging couple of years, this festival is a sign that life is returning to normal, and that’s something worth raising a glass to.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing back our wine festival this year,” says Mark DeMicoli, Delicata’s Marketing Manager. “It’s more than just a chance for us to share our wines with the public. It’s a celebration of Malta’s rich history, our vibrant culture, and our unwavering spirit.”
So, whether you’re a seasoned wine connoisseur or simply looking for a fun day out, make sure to add Delicata’s wine festival to your calendar this August. Cheers!
