Footage obtained by Hot Malta shows the moment the scaffold, which was being used for construction work on a nearby building, collapses onto the road. The driver, who wishes to remain anonymous, had just passed under the scaffold seconds before it came crashing down. “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” the driver told us, “One moment it was there, the next it was on the road in front of me.”

Locals React: “It Was Only a Matter of Time”
