Two Children Seriously Injured in Msida Motorbike-Bicycle Crash

It was a scene of chaos and concern on Tuesday afternoon in the heart of Msida, as emergency services rushed to the aid of two young children seriously injured in a collision between a motorbike and a bicycle.

The incident occurred around 3 PM at the busy junction of Triq San Pawl and Triq il-Kbira, near the iconic Msida Church. Witnesses reported seeing the motorbike, ridden by a man in his 30s, collide with the bicycle, which was being ridden by a boy and a girl, both believed to be under 10 years old.

The children, residents of Msida, were immediately rushed to Mater Dei Hospital with serious injuries. The motorcyclist, a local resident, was also hospitalized with minor injuries. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
