Malta’s Leaders Clash in First Live Election Debate
As the sun sets over the Grandmaster’s Palace in Valletta, the political arena heats up. Tonight, Malta’s top leaders face off in the first live debate of the election season. But who’s ready to rumble? And more importantly, who’s ready to win your vote?
The Stage is Set
The debate, hosted by the Broadcasting Authority, kicks off at 8 PM sharp. The venue? The Mediterranean Conference Centre, a stone’s throw from the iconic St. John’s Co-Cathedral. The lineup? Malta’s big three party leaders: Robert Abela (Labour), Bernard Grech (PN), and Adrian Delia (AD).
The Issues on the Table
From the economy to COVID-19 recovery, immigration to education, these leaders will tackle the hot topics that matter most to Maltese voters. But with limited time and a packed agenda, expect some tough calls on what makes the cut.
How to Watch
Can’t make it to the MCC? No worries! You can catch the action live on TVM, TVM HD, and TVM’s YouTube channel. And if you’re on the go, the debate will also be streamed live on TVM’s website and mobile app.
But this isn’t just a spectator sport. Got a question you’ve been dying to ask the leaders? Share it on social media using the hashtag #AskTheLeaders. Who knows? You might just see your question make it onto the debate floor.
