It’s been over a week since 16-year-old Mara Azzopardi was last seen near St. Julian’s Bay, and her worried family is desperate for any information that could lead to her whereabouts. Today, they’ve put up a €1,000 reward for anyone who can provide concrete leads on her disappearance.

Mara’s Last Known Whereabouts

Mara was last seen on the evening of Monday, 13th March, around 8 PM, near the Spinola Bay area. She was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and white sneakers. Her family has shared her photo on social media and with local police, appealing to anyone who might have seen her.

Community Rallies Around the Azzopardi Family

Neighbours and friends have been sharing Mara’s photo and offering support to her family. Rosette Portelli, a family friend from Birkirkara, told Hot Malta, “We’re all hoping for her safe return. We’re doing everything we can to help the family and spread the word.”

The Malta Police Force has been actively investigating Mara’s disappearance, urging anyone with information to come forward. Superintendent Mark Attard said, “We’re exploring all possibilities and following every lead. We urge anyone who saw Mara that evening or has any information to contact us immediately.”
