Until recently, however, this service came at a cost. That’s all about to change.

Free Hydrotherapy: A New Reality

In a move that’s sure to bring relief and joy to many, the Malta Sports Council has announced that disability card holders will now enjoy free access to Tal-Qroqq Pool’s hydrotherapy sessions. This initiative, supported by the Ministry for Inclusion and Social Wellbeing, aims to make hydrotherapy more accessible and affordable for those who need it most.

“We understand the therapeutic benefits of hydrotherapy,” says Dr. Clifton Grima, Parliamentary Secretary for Youths, Sports and Voluntary Organisations. “By making it free for disability card holders, we’re ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.”

How to Access Your Free Sessions

To claim your free hydrotherapy sessions, simply present your disability card at Tal-Qroqq Pool. There’s no need to book in advance, but sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The pool is open Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 1 pm, and Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm.
